Inflammation: For thousands of years hydrotherapy has been very effective in minimizing inflammation and improving circulation. The suggested procedure is very simple, take ice and place some in a plastic bag and get some warm water or as hot as you can stand it (without burning yourself) in a bucket and some towels. (Do not apply wet towels on open wounds) Now the treatment will go as follows: 3 minutes of hot towel on the inflammation area (great for arthritis) followed by 1 minute of cold. Do this 3 times and end with cold.

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease - Heartburn:
Symptoms - A burning sensation in the stomach or chest. Natural Remedies: Immediately drink a large glass of pure water. This will help wash the HCI back down and dilute it as well. Or you can drink some raw potato juice. Whiz up an unpeeled potato and drink it up. Do not lay down. Remain UPRIGHT, so gravity can help push the HCI down and keep it down. Loose weight. The pressure of extra weight causes heartburn more frequently.........
Herbs:
Peppermint is excellent for heartburn. Make a tea and drink it. Lemon balm, basil, and oregano are also good. Chewing LICORICE protects the lining of the esophagus, which can be damaged by chronic heartburn. For best results, use deglycerinate licorice, which is a chewable form.
