We have all seen the impact that television has had on our past and present generations. Today more than ever, violence, immorality and perversion are unbearable, especially if you have not looked at secular television for a few months. This summer, while installing Hope Channel in several hotels for the General Conference session in Atlanta, I was scanning the channels.  When passing by a local network, there on the screen, there was a young lady nearly naked on TV!  And we all know this was not an isolated occurrence.  The networks aren't ashamed of putting things like that and worse on a daily basis. Friends, our children are subject to that day in and day out. Children often come home from school to an unsupervised home with channels that I would be ashamed to look at in just passing!
Our mission with Satellite Evangelism is to reach families right where they are, in front of the television. We will come to your church by invitation and conduct a seminar to train members to successfully use Satellite Evangelism in your community.  Seminar attendees will be introduced to the many benefits of wholesome programming for the whole family, as well as learn proper marketing techniques to the community.  We will also train qualified installers for your congregation, because it won't matter if you know all there is to know about the Satellite Evangelism program, if you do not have a qualified installer. The installer is one of the most valuable team members.  In fact, without the vital connection established by the installer with the friend or neighbor during the installation process, the whole program will fall apart. It is vital to have every piece of the puzzle for a successful program.
My wife and I traveled the country teaching the "Homes of Hope" program for the Hope Channel for over 2 years with amazing stories that touched our hearts. Therefore we have continued to teach and we have also created a support structure for installers with equipment and educational videos online (www.youtube.com/idealsatellite) as well as Skype video support.
